Coil

Coil is a free arena snake game that runs inside ServiceNow. Steer with the mouse, the keyboard or touch, eat glowing orbs to grow, and boost through a crowd at the cost of your own length. Touch another snake's body or the edge of the arena and it is over.

How it plays

Twenty computer-controlled snakes share a wide arena with you. They hunt orbs, steer around trouble and now and then try to cut you off, under exactly the same rules you play by. When one dies it bursts into orbs worth chasing. The camera follows your snake and pulls back as you grow, and a minimap shows the whole arena.

The look follows your theme

With a NowForge Gamer Pack theme chosen in Preferences > Theme, the arena takes that genre: a wireframe grid with Vector, neon rain with Neon District, pixel stars with High Score, embers with Emberkeep. With any other theme it uses its own dark arena. Anyone whose device asks for reduced motion gets no screen shake and fewer effects, and the game plays the same.

The leaderboard

Every game that lasts more than three seconds posts its score. The leaderboard shows each player's best, by name, to everyone who can play. The server checks each score against how long the game ran and refuses one that could not have happened, and it keeps only each player's best few results. An administrator can clear the board.

Install

Two files, imported in order: the application, then its update set. It needs no configuration, no credentials and no outside connection. One role, x_nf_coil.user, lets a person play.
