Gamer Pack

What it does
The Gamer Pack is four Next Experience themes in one download, each built around a game genre:
• Vector - a cockpit display: square edges, cyan lines, magenta focus and all-caps type. • Neon District - a neon city after dark, in magenta and cyan. • High Score - an 8-bit arcade: gold on deep indigo, square edges and monospace capitals. • Emberkeep - a fantasy keep: parchment and ink under a dark header, with ember red.
Each is also sold on its own at $199. The pack holds exactly the same theme applications, so a theme bought here is the theme sold separately.
Each person chooses a theme for themselves in Preferences > Theme, and it restyles Next Experience pages, including the classic lists and forms opened inside them, from the header to the focus ring. Installing the pack changes nobody's screen until they choose a theme.
They change shape and type, not only color
These four go further than a palette. Vector and High Score square every corner and set their headings in capitals; Emberkeep is a light parchment theme under a dark header, in a serif. The typefaces are ones every machine already has, so nothing is downloaded and nothing is left behind.
Readable, and measured
Every text, field edge, button, link, alert and focus ring color in each theme is checked against its WCAG 2.1 AA minimum. Each theme's test suite measures 31 of those pairs through the colors actually installed on your instance, and every page the themes were shown on was measured again from the rendered pixels.
Four apps, side by side
Each theme is an application of its own. All four install together, each keeps its own card, and people can switch between them freely. Removing one leaves the other three, and the people using them, as they were.
Two companions, sold separately
Command Deck draws a person's own assigned work as a game, and takes its look from whichever of these themes they chose. Coil is a free arena game that does the same. Neither is included here, and neither is needed: the themes stand on their own.
What it will not do
It ships no code. No script, table, page, role, property or scheduled job - nothing but each theme's own records and its test suite.
It changes nobody's choice. Each person picks their own theme, and the instance's default stays the default.
